Reserve a site for your special event!
Please read these policies carefully before you contact us about reserving an event at the Gardens.
Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens is a wonderful venue for small outdoor weddings or memorials.
1. Our parking is limited so your attendees' group size cannot be more than 50.
2. We do not allow receptions or other activities that involve food.
3. We reserve events on Wednesdays and Saturdays (excluding December 24, 25 or 31 and January 1) and no later than 3pm.
4. We do not schedule any events during the months of June, July and August because of the heat.
5. Total event reservation fee is $300.00 (cash only please, no checks) for all events.
6. Other policies and rules to reserve an event are stated in the Event Reservation Agreement.
ALL events scheduled in the Gardens must be approved by The Botanical Gardens of Volusia, Inc.

Please understand that we try to keep this calendar up-to-date and in sync with the official calendar kept in the Gardens' office. Therefore, the date you pick from this calendar may have already been reserved by the time you come to the office to sign the agreement and pay the reservation fee.
What dates are reserved in 2024? Updated 11/16/24
June, July and August: No dates are available during the summer due to the heat.
September: 21 is reserved
October: 9, 12, 19, 24 are reserved.
November: 9, 23 are reserved.
December: 13 is reserved.

January: 4, 11, 23, 25 are reserved.
February: Available.
March: Available.
April: 5, 12 are reserved.
May: Available.
June, July and August: No dates are available during the summer due to the heat.

- You may come to the Gardens on Wednesday or Saturday between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to sign the event reservation agreement and to pay the reservation fee to reserve a date.
- Events are reserved on a first come first served basis. Please let us know ahead when you are coming so we can have someone there to help you.
- Your event will not be considered "Reserved" until you have paid the reservation fee and have signed our event reservation agreement.
